,Ms. Grier received a Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2010 with minors in Mathematics and Radiation Health. Ms. Grier is prior U.S Navy and received an honorable discharge from the Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate Program (NUPOC). She earned a Masters of Engineering degree from the University of Maryland in Nuclear Engineering in 2013. Ms. Grier holds an Engineer-in-Training license from the Maryland State Board of Professional Engineers.

 

Ms. Grier is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Ms. Grier is currently pursuing a Masters degree from the Naval War College in Defense Strategies with a focus on African Security. Ms. Grier has practical experience with writing, editing, and administering standard operating procedures for various applications. Ms. Grier has experience with creating and implementing learning rubrics, training peers as well as supervisors, drafting laboratory reports for discovery/incident/general updates. Ms. Grier has experience in the development of long-term plans (20 + years); technical evaluations and business case studies.

       

Ms. Grier has participated as a mentor in the DOE Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) mentor program. She also participated in the White House Council on Women and Girls. Ms. Grier maintains membership in the U.S. Women in Nuclear (WIN) organization and is on the Professional Development Committee. Ms. Grier Volunteers with the DOE Science Bowl and National STEM fair and the National Science fair. Ms. Grier is a reviewer in the Engineer Girl Essay Scholarship Contest and has served as a judge in the National Science Fair in Washington DC.
